Claudio Pioli, Mbio, PhD, is a Research Director at the Division of Biotechologies, Department for Sustainability of the ENEA (Rome, Italy), where he was appointed as researcher in 1995.

His professional experience includes project management and supervision, fund raising, experimental research, teaching and training activities, scientific dissemination, and scientific support to local administrations and international bodies. Manager of several projects from national and international, public and private entities.

Adjunct Professor at University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Part of the Technical-Scientific Council of ENEA (2021-2024).
