Claudio Pioli, Mbio, PhD, is a senior scientist and group leader at the Laboratory of Biomedical Technologies of the ENEA, where he was appointed as researcher in 1995. He has a broad expertise in Immunology comprising aspects of innate and acquired immunity at cellular and molecular levels. His research interests focus on regulatory mechanisms involved in immune-mediated diseases and tumor immunology, in their exploitation as therapeutic targets, and on the effects of environmental agents on immune functions.
He is also teaching Molecular Immunology and Flow Cytometry at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is a Member of the Board and of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Society for Flow Cytometry.
He is part of ENEA Technical-Scientific Council (elected member).
