The development of non-viral gene therapies represents an innovative and safe approach for the treatment of genetic diseases. Our strategy is based on the use of engineered DNA or microRNA sequences delivered to target tissues via pulsed electric fields (Electro Gene Transfer, EGT), with the aim of correcting genetic alterations or finely regulating gene expression. Applications include rare genetic diseases such as Glycogen Storage Disease Type III, as well as brain tumors, offering new prospects for targeted long-lasting treatments with fewer risks and greater efficacy compared to traditional methods.
